Beginning at State Line Avenue (US 71) immediately opposite Arkansas Boulevard on the Texas-Arkansas state line, it travels due west, curves to the south at a radius of about five blocks. Further south, it intersects Richmond Road before terminating at a three-way intersection with U.S. Highway 82. Texas Boulevard continues to the south, signed as eastbound US 82, while the third corridor, westbound US 82, is locally known as New Boston Road. Loop 14 is long〔 and was part of the original alignment of U.S. Highway 59 through Texarkana. ==Route description== Loop 14 begins at an intersection with US 82 in Texarkana, Bowie County, with the road continuing south as a part of US 82. From here, the highway heads north on Texas Boulevard, a five-lane road with a center left-turn lane that passes businesses. The road continues into residential areas with some businesses, curving to the east.
